The boxing KangaROOS is an 1895 German short film by the Skladanowsky brothers. A man and a kangaroo stand up in front of each other with boxing gloves and simulate a boxing match on a theatre stage. The Skladanowsky brothers were the first movie makers and this short film which is exactly what it says it is: a boxing kangaroo going against a man. Premiering at the first public projection of motion pictures in Germany, "Das Boxende Känguruh" is one of the earliest examples of animal behaviour on screen.
