Mizuno - How it started
Rihachi and Rizu Mizuno opened their sports store called Mizuno Brothers in 1906. They sold popular western sports items for sports like baseball and golf. In 1907 the brothers decided they’d start producing order based products and in 1941 the name was changed to Mizuno Co. After that they started selling shoes and gear for a whole lot more sports like athletics, soccer, golf and volleybal
Into the sneaker world
Knowing that they were big sneakerheads, it wasn't surprising that the brothers one day rolled into the sneaker world for a lifestyle purpose. Little did they know Mizuno would eventually turn into one of the biggest sneaker brands of Japan and the world. The refreshing colors and diverse models are very typical for the Mizuno sneakers.
