A timeless silhouette
The Vans Old Skool is a timeless silhouette. First released in 1977 as a skate shoe, the sneaker has grown into an icon over the years. By means of leather panels, the sneaker lasted a lot longer. The popular “jazz stripe” on the side of the sneaker started out as a random doodle by Paul van Doren, but has become an indispensable feature of the Vans Old Skool. Now Vans is releasing two refreshing colorways, including the classic checkerboard colorway and a new burgundy color.
