A summer sneaker
Now that the weather is getting better, Nike is coming just in time with a summer colorway on the classic Nike Dunk High. This “Lemon Twist” colorway comes in cheerful pastel colors to create a summery look.
Made for basketball, but brought to fashion, the '80s basketball icon returns with a range of fun colors. When the Nike Dunk High came out in 1985, the sneaker didn't get much love. This was because the Air Jordan 1 was also released this year and the Dunk so completely came to be in the shadow of the Air Jordan 1. Soon the Dunk started to grow into a skate shoe, as it was very cheap and had a strong grip on a skateboard.
Now we saw the Nike Dunk come back in 2019 and we haven't gotten rid of it since. The Nike Dunk belongs in the daily street scene and will not change in the near future.
