The classic b-ball sneaker
“Everything looks better with a swoosh”. Especially when that swoosh is dressed in leopard print. Nike is back with another re-do of their beloved Blazer model from ’77. Although the sneaker originally released in ’73, the later version has had more success in the streetwear scene, as this version makes its return to the streets once every few years.
Today the blazer is still rocked and loved by many, mostly because of the simplicity of the sneaker. One of the communities who picked it up and raised it as one of their own is the skater community, since the shoes’ sturdiness made it very durable for skateboarders. And besides the looks, the blazer also has a story that has been unfolding for over 45 years, which also makes it an amazing shoe to have on your feet.
