Over the past two years, De Sluwe Vos has relentlessly worked on creating a new, fully analog live show in which he plays brand new material. We from SneakerBAAS visited him in his own house, to find out more about his life and how sneakers play a role in it.
After performing at Lowlands for years, he developed a strong bond with the visitors of Dutch festivals. Therefore, the so-called Dutch prodigy brought half of his studio with synthesizers and drum machines to the stage the last time he played, and deposited 60 minutes of raw house and techno that brought the notorious Bravo Cathedral to an intense finale.
Sneakers play an important role in his career as an artist. Not only do sneakers make him feel at ease, they also provide comfort during his performances and around it. De Sluwe often doesn’t think about which pair he wants to wear, he knows which he finds most comfortable and picks the closest one.
